I know it's been a long time since I've said and thought this, but this event was absolutely incredible! All of the things most important to me that I look for were present: sound system, lighting, and of course the DJs.
Adam Beyer was just incredible in my opinion. I've heard some people his set was just so-so, but his mixing and track selection definitely melted my brain. Gaetek (Gaetano Parisio) also spun a wicked set, and not to mention all the other DJs in the main room who were really good as well. After not having attended a techno party in what was definitely much too long, I think I will definitely be coming to more of pHryL's events, and checking out other techno oriented events.
I only have one complaint about my night: security. Though in general they were okay, they took away Josh's digital camera which I was going to use to take pictures of my night, which is something I obviously haven't done in a while. In any case, they took the camera 'til the end of the party, and were kind of aggressive and unfriendly in general. I guess this is to be expected with XIT, but it was somewhat of a damper on my night since I had promised Sera-tonin to take pictures of the night, to post on here.
Expect to see some pictures shortly. We did take a few, I think, before security got all uppity on us.
